OUR STORY

About Us

The West Wicklow House is a traditional Irish pub located at the gateway to the Garden of Ireland and Wicklow's national parks in Blessington, Co. Wicklow, only 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre. Dating back to the mid 1600's, it was originally built as a coach house for weary travellers and offered a nights rest and a place to refresh horses.

Today it is a family run traditional Irish pub and restaurant offering food 7 days a week and is now a cornerstone of Blessington village life. Close by we have the magical Blessington Lakes, Russborough House and Parklands and the Blessington Greenway is soon to be extended. The West Wicklow House is the perfect spot to start or finish your days adventures around our beautiful County Wicklow.
